I have always been involved with volunteer work to benefit the community, children and the elderly; most of them organized by Rotary International.

While studying Marketing and Advertising in Brazil, I did a traineeship at an advertising agency named ‘Interativa’ working in the creative sector, producing magazines; newspapers; billboards; web; and other advertisements.

Rotary International gave me the opportunity to travel on an exchange program to Belgium in 2004, and to Australia in 2005, where I stayed for a year experiencing the best things of life as well as facing problems by myself without my parents help. I come from a city which has a population of roughly 500,000. Moving to Mount Barker, a small farming town in Western Australia, with a population of only 1,500 people and having a fear of animals was one of my biggest challenges. At the farms I learned to appreciate the simple things of life and to become independent. Australia treated me so well that I fell in love with this amazing country and decided to come back and study here.

I have work experience at primary schools both in Australia and in Brazil, and was involved in art work for children and educational games. I have also worked at a legal profession office with 4 other lawyers helping with paper and computer work.
