  Its getting hot in here

I just got back from this little cafe down the road called Acai, where they serve an ice cream type thing by the same name. Its purple and delicious! You sprinkle this cereal type stuff on top and add chunks of banana to it too. Its mmmm tasty!

Today has been the hottest day yet. Its currently 33 and it probably got to 36 during the day. Im sweating just sitting here typing this. Its the first time since being here that ive actually had sweat dripping down my arms. I went to the gym earlier and was drenched in sweat, gross I know,.

Last night we went out for dinner at a bbq place called Carneirinho. Its a little corner cafe with a specialty in lamb. The entree was lots of salad with little bits of crusty bread and dipping sauce. The mains were 3 cuts of meat. First was chicken hearts,... yes, chicken hearts! It came out on a small plate, these tiny cuts of meat, it was quite chewy and didnt taste the best. Next was cuts of beef followed by the famous lamb. The lamb was definately the tastiest especially when smothered in the dipping sauce....

Today Emma got back from her adventures over christmas and new year. It sounds like I missed out on a huge new years party. I was contemplating going with her to the Universo Paralello Festival in Bahia. It's a huge 6 day festival at a camp site by a beach. 12,000 people went and the music never stopped. She said the only bad part was the lack of hot water and the dodgy bathrooms. Have a look at the site http://www.universoparalello.art.br/

Its good to have Emma back here and to celebrate we're about to head off to Villa for the happy hour.

I need lighter clothes to wear...
